Thanks for sharing this time with us, have a blessed day with an over abundance of creativity.

Next up is Dianna with her really fun version of our chipboard scarecrow.

Hi everyone, Dianna here with a my take on Gina's Designs Chipboard Scarecrow.

I decided to really change it up and make it a girl.

I trimmed the waist and curved the chest of the main form and the jacket.

I stayed traditional with the face and pants by using burlap paper. Burlap is so much easier to use as a paper and still allows for the nice fraying on the edges. The hair was made up of burlap ribbon and some springy ribbon from Paper Studio. The eyes are two gears from Gina's Designs with brads as centers of the eyes and nose. I distressed the edges of the face with Tim Holtz, Distress Ink. The main body was covered with a metallic gold paper and inked with bronze chalk ink.

The ruffle was made by punching with a ruffle 1-1/2 inch on metallic bronze paper. The circles were squirted with water folded in half and folded fan like then dried. Once dried, the half circles were inked and glued on the main body of the scarecrow. Found some really cool paper at Hobby Lobby and used that for the jacket and skirt. The jacket was inked with bronze, silver and gold chalk ink and then glued to the main body. The gears, crow and keys from Gina's Designs were painted with white gesso, then painted with bronze and gold paint and finished with inking with brown. Copic markers were used on the crow to get the feather effect. I liked how the bronze showed through the grays so I did not add gears to the crow. Scrap braiding was used for the edges of the jacket and the keys were used to close it. Buttons were from Tuesday Morning gold button lot.

The skirt was punched with a scalloped punch, squirted with water and fan folded while damp. After drying, the skirt was glued on to the inked pants. Gears were glued on the pants as patches and the ruffles at the ends of the pants and jacket were left over scalloped circle punches from the ruffle shirt.

The body was then glued to a Gina's Designs large tag that had been covered with burlap paper and inked with bronze, brown and gold chalk ink. The large black gear is from Gina's Designs and the burlap flower was made fom a Tim Holtz Sizzix die. Each section of the flower was inked with Tim Holtz Distress Paint in bronze, silver and gold. The face of the scarecrow was glued last and everything was spritzed with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist - Gold. Ribbons from The Paper Studio were used as tassels.

Victorian Frame with Easel by Kim and Wall Art by Heidi

We have two projects to share today beginning with a gorgeous Victorian Frame and Easel set by Kim.

Hello Friends and Happy Valentines Day! Today I'm sharing my altered Victorian Frame & Easel.  I just love this Frame set, it really harkens back to the time when photography was just starting to come into its own. The photo I chose for the center is a copy of a vintage one taken back in 1887, the name on the back of the photo was "Aunt Emma" so that is what I call this lovely lady.
I embossed all around the frame, and used Gilders Paste to give the effect of aged copper. I added some metal copper corners to add to the metallic look.
The bottom left corner of the frame has some of Gina's Feathery Flourish Pieces, which I embossed and then layered on some two toned burgundy and tan roses to complete the look.

Above is the front of the easel. I have gone over it with gesso, then used Gilders Paste in 2 different colors to give a worn metal look. I layered on some vintage laces, a metal Love embellishment in bronze, velvet ribbon, flowers and  a crochet button. I have also added a gorgeous metal peacock to the side of the Love frame.
You can see more of the Feathery Flourish there, which I embossed with the same colour as the other pieces on the frame.

Above is a close up of some of the Steampunk Angel Wings from the  Dressform and Wing Set on the top right, and an applique and flower from my stash.
Below is a photo of the Easel you receive in the set. You can see how I distressed it to give it a worn look. The frame just sits nicely on top of it.

I hope you like my project today and thanks so much for stopping by!

Next up is Heidi with a beautiful home decor wall art piece, one of several new products that were designed with Valentine's Day in mind, but can used anytime of year.

Hello, it's Heidi again with a little wall art from Gina's Designs.  The actual kit comes with the chipboard square that I covered with Valentine papers, the corrugated board  and then the letters L O V E. I used the swans from the Valentine set as the hanger at the top!

I painted the letters with a deep red paint and then left everything else natural!   Adding a few bits and pieces from the Valentine Sets that Gina has along with the ever so lovely doilies!

Holidays

Hi everyone Monica here and I hope everyone survived Thanksgiving and the mad holiday shopping rush.  I definitely felt being home was better than fighting through crowds of people just to save a buck or two lol...  With Christmas being right around the corner now is a great time to make those special handmade cards and gifts from the heart and today I am sharing a project that will be a gift and the next project will be one I use as a decorative piece.

My first project is this Victorian Easel Frame I put a picture of my nephews and niece in it for my brother.  I used some G45 papers to cover some of the parts, but I really love the look of the masonite so I didnt cover it all.  I added some flat back pearls along the edges.

I added a sentiment that says Generation to Generation which I thought was perfect for the front of the frame.  You actually can stand the frame either direction!

My next project may look weird, but I am going to put our photos of us skiing this Christmas as soon as we get back.  This is a piece from the Filmstrips 1 Shape Set and I used some pieces from the

Snowflake Shape set I painted all the pieces with gesso and then some navy, baby blue, and black in to covers them and give the pieces some definition.  Then I added some navy colored roses to it.

I hope everyone enjoyed my projects for today and thanks for stopping by everyone....
