Merry Christmas Banner

Deck the halls with boughs of holly, fa la la la la, la la la la.....well, at least chipboard holly ;-)

Good morning my little candy canes, Marfa here to show this most awesome Merry Christmas that I made using a Gina's Designs chipboard
kit.  I decorated it with paper from the Evergreen Stack by DCWV.  If
you are a long time reader of my blog you might remember a video that I
made showing you this great stack with lots of foil.  Oooooh it just
made my heart go all jingle bells when I saw it.  So I immediately went
for it to decorate this pretty sign.  When you visit the store, check
out the kit.  You can order any phrase that you want.  I ordered Merry
Christmas because I turn my house into a total Santa's workshop starting
the last week of November right up to the end of January (sometimes
February when I'm really lazy and don't feel like taking all that stuff
down...lol).  Wait till you see what I have in store for this year :-D

So take look at my newest Christmas addition.  I love it!  And scroll down a little to watch a very short video with close ups!

Fall Mini Album

Good Morning
Rashida here today sharing a few pages from my fall mini album. The album features shapes from Gina’s Fall Shape set and various other shape sets from Gina’s Designs.

For the cover:
The cover was made using two pieces of chipboard that I cover with painted canvas. I painted Gina’s Trees and the fall banner from Gina’s fall shape set with brown paint and added gold leaf foil to the pieces. Next I layered up the painted chipboard with a few fall colored flowers from my stash.

This page was made using Gina’s Hinges shape set and Gina’s fall shape set. Once again I painted the chipboard and added fall flowers to the corner. The glittered chipboard piece is from Gina’s Fall set. The Hinges double as a holder for the pull out journal/photo card.

For these pages I used Gina's Chicken Wire,Gina's Fall Shape Set, and Gina's Banner Builder Dovetail Minis. You can find the entire album on my blog. Thanks so much for looking!

House Mini Display Frame

Hi everyone Monica here with a newer piece from Gina's Designs.  This is a mini display frame and they come in: House, Balloon, Camera, Butterfly and Birdhouse.  I used some G45 papers to decorate it with and some chippies from GD's  Spooky Shape set, Lamp Post II set, and Grass & Foliage set.

I left open spots so I could add some Halloween photos
I backed it with corrugated cardboard and I used some Crackle Paste and glimmer mist
then I stamped it with a scroll type stamp all over the frame
I stamped the Boo chippie as well and I love - love how it came out.  Well I hope everyone enjoyed my post and thanks for stopping by....

Haunted House Chipboard Silhouette

Good morning cupcakes!  Marfa here to make your heart skip a beat and frighten you worse than the shower scene in Psycho ;-)  Today's project is a fun Haunted House Silhouette from Gina's Designs.  I used acrylic paint, a Sharpie marker, gesso, crackle paint, hot glue and imagination to put together this scary house.  The best part is that it stands on its own, so its going to be a fabulous decoration for Halloween.  Scroll down to see a little video that I made to show you all the details.  Enjoy!

Flying Heart Wall Hanging Kit

This is one of the new wall hanging kits from Gina's Designs and it was a pleasure to assemble and decorate.

The kit comes with the following:

6 x 6 chipboard square with a small hole punched in each corner (I used my cropodile to insert eyelets into each hole).  This square piece is intended to be at the top

6 x 7.5 chipboard rectangle with two holes punched at the top and one hole punched in the center of the bottom.  This piece is intended to connect to the square at the top, and to hang the large key from the center of the bottom.

A large heart and a smaller heart
A pair of wings
A crown
Large key (to hang from the bottom of the chipboard rectangle) and also a smaller key
Corrugated cardboard lazer cut shape (I used this on the top piece)
Corrugated cardboard strip (fits the length of the bottom piece, and I chose to cut mine in half)
Three words (Dream, Inspire, and Create)

Please see the bottom of this post for a list of the other items from Gina's Designs that I added to my hanging.  This piece looked gorgeous just as it was without the extras I added, but that's just me, I can't stop once I get my hands on my chippies :)

Garden fairies layout

Kathi here again to share a layout I created for you. The garden fairy layout.  Products I used from Gina's for this layout include, lamppost 1, Garden fairies (lg) and garden windows (lg). Soft green's, blue's and peach/pink was blended on this altered canvas.

Kathi created a double matted frame around the photo. The double mat was created so that the photo could be exchanged for other photo's.
Two fairies sitting around a bird house enjoying the flowers.
Graphic 45 paper from "The Secret Garden"
A garden fairy is leaning on the lamp post
overlooking the babies photo.

Be sure to check out these chipboard cutouts as well
as others in Gina's store.  Check back often I will be back to share new designs with you soon

Book Box with Simply Monica

Hi everyone Monica here to share one of Gina's Designs newest additions.  The Book Box it is really the coolest thing.  The binding is webbed like which is how it is able to expand and bend,  you have to buy one to really see what i am talking about.  Once you open it up there is a compartment you can use to store items in.  They also come in 2 additional sizes.

The gorgeous fairy is from Gina's Garden Fairy collection and they are available in smaller sizes this is one of the bigger pieces. I applied gesso and modeling paste to different areas with a stencil and painted and sort of smeared the paint with my fingers along different parts of the paper.  I stamped on the fairy I just hate painting over the chippie sometimes.  I love how they look naturally.
I applied the gold paint to the leaves to add some shine and color to them

It is hard to tell but I also painted the mesh ribbon with some paint to make it match the colors I chose to use.  I love how it all turned out and I hope everyone enjoyed my project for today.

Mini Display Tray

Good morning everyone , Deann here with a project for Gina's Designs !
Today I made the Mini Display Tray - Butterfly

I love making these trays ! I used a BoBunny paper  (can't remember the name)
I did a messy paint job with white spray paint, I wanted some of the wood to show through.

I used one of the Cardstock Doily s, I rubbed a little blue ink on the edges of the Doily.
The Banner is from the Mini Pennant set.

I love how the Garden Fairy turned out, I just added layers of paint and inks to her and finished
off with a white wash.
I also added a Dragonfly and bent the wings up so it looks like its flying.

I also added a Butterfly from the same collection.
Thats all for today ,thanks for taking a look!
(((HUGS)))
Deann
