Hi everyone, it's Donna here today to share a layout about winter and snow! I've been away a few weeks and it feels great to get back to scrapping! I was really excited when I saw Gina's new piece, the "horse and carriage"! And I love the chipboard snowflake shapes!
There are several different snowflake shapes in the snowflake set, but I chose to use just one of the designs, in two sizes. I painted the snowflakes with white gesso and then added some Snow Tech glittering snow! There is a beautiful shimmer in person, but not too much for a "shabby" layout.
After I chose the paper with the snow covered trees, I knew the horse and carraige would be perfect for this layout! I painted it with white gesso, walnut stain distress paint, and heat embossed Pirates gold embossing powder.
