Altered ATC Shrine

Good morning sugar pops!  Feeling "chirpier" today?  OK, OK, that was my lame joke to start telling you about my altered ATC shrine...lol  I don't usually do ATCs (Artist Trading Cards).  But I love this little shrine.  It is called ATC Shrine-Garden and you can get it at Gina's Designs.  There's something completely adorable about the picket fence and the butterfly.  So I decided to keep it as a little garden.  I heart shabby chic!  Its like I gravitate towards it and I have to make a real effort sometimes to design using other styles.

I painted with acrylics and gesso, covered it with crackle paint and added green trimming.  I made a little "nest" using a flower, faux pearls and an adorable little bird.  Then I did some super simple painting inside to create the "garden".  I can leave it as is, or I can use it as shadow box.  We'll see.
