A very merry banner . . .

Hi everyone. Nancy W here with a Christmas banner all dressed up with Gina's Designs chipboard and adorable Authentique holiday paper.

Starting with Gina's Designs Banner Builder Dovetail set, I painted the scallop banner with gold acrylic paint. Once dried, I dabbed the scalloped edge with VersaMark and sprinkled with Ranger's Gold Tinsel Embossing Powder.

The Old English N-O-E-L letters are Gina's also and I treated them the same way as the scallop banner changing to red acrylic paint and Ranger's Red Tinsel Embossing Powder.

The banner set comes with 8 pieces total (2 per banner). One piece is scalloped and there's a corresponding piece that's a bit smaller with flat sides. This flat sided piece is the one I papered with Authentique's new Joyous Christmas line (6x6 paper pad), choosing a different paper for each banner.

The images on the banners are from the same Authentique 6x6 paper pad. I backed them with Gina's Designs heavy chipboard to raise the images a bit.  The round Santa image was then adhered to one of Gina's Designs intricate doilies.

Did you notice those adorable tiny stockings hanging in between the banners? They are so cute and are from Gina's Christmas Shape Set. They were covered with bits of Authentique paper and then I added *snow* from a Marvy Snow Pen to each one. It gives a bit of dimension to the stockings. The lamp post used on the *L* banner is also from the same Christmas Shape Set.

Since it's my son and daughter-in-law's first married Christmas, I'm planning on adding this year's Christmas photos of them to each banner and surrounding the photos with these beautiful filigree frames.

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my latest Gina's Designs project.
