Dressform by Guest Designer Heather!

Hi everyone Heather here !!! I love Gina’s Dress Form. It was so much fun to work with.
The dressform and stand are covered in paper from The Paper Studio ( Haberdashery).
I painted one of Gina’s steampunk doilies with Rose Folk Art metallic paint and placed that behind one of Gina’s geared butterfly’s that I coated with viva rusty paper. Now if gears are not your thing, Gina has some great alternatives in her shop! For the doily you could use one from Cardstock Doily Set 1, Cardstock Doily Set Intricates, or Doily Set 8 Inch. Your butterfly options would be the Butterflies & Dragonflies or the Wood Wall Art.

I decided to deck her out with lace, bling and flowers from my stash. You can add as little or as much to her as you wish!

Dressform Stand Up by Shanna

Hello and happy weekend to all!  It's Shanna here with a new project to share.
I altered this Dressform Stand from the store and I love it. I found so much inspiration online, but really no tutorials on how they put it together.

SOOOO I went to town figuring it out for myself and I started gluing until it looked great.  The only thing I regret is not distressing the edges with ink :(

I had fun painting all my chipboard pieces with crackle. and I had just enough ribbon to finish the look.  It will make a great desk piece or mantle piece or great for your bookshelf. I just love it.

Dressform Cork Board by Mary

Happy Tuesday! Mary here with my latest DT project for Gina's Designs. I have made a cork board  to keep track of my DT project due dates. I used the box portion of the Doily Box SEW since I used a lot of the elements that came with it on my Couture Shop project. After a good coat of gesso, I actually papered the inside and outside sides with Couture Shop by Graphic 45.
And then I changed directions! I covered the sides with lace and trim from my stash. On the inside, I covered it with a piece of cork board and then some rosette lace I got on Zibbet.

I used gesso on all the dressform pieces and colored them with marker before applying clear embossing powder to the miniature ones. I attached five of the mini dressforms to thumb tacks I had.
The larger dressform (which is designed to be free standing) is covered with a piece of paper from the Couture Shop. On the larger dressform I attached a mini cork board that I made from one of the frames that was in a "thank you for order" from Gina. I attached one of the miniature dressforms to it.
